"I can't wait to go see Tron 3," said no one ever.
But alas, Disney is continuing the Legacy movies. We don't know if it will be a brand-new story, but director Joseph Kosinski has hinted in the past that this movie will be a direct continuation of 2010’s sequel Tron: Legacy. Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hedlund are reprising their roles. In the last movie, a virtual designer's son goes searching for his father and ends up inside the digital world that his father designed.
Though Legacy was not highly regarded by critics, past movies have grossed as much as $400 million worldwide. They're looking to start shooting this fall, reportedly in Vancouver, BC.
