The final trailer for The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened? has arrived and with it the first really good look at the really weird, light-up suit that Nicolas Cage's Superman was going to wear.
The documentary, which is due out in theaters May 1 before an On Demand release in July, investigates the collapse of Superman Lives, the unfinished Superman movie from the '90s, directed by Tim Burton and written by Kevin Smith, which ended up being scrapped.
By all accounts, it was going to be a really, really weird superhero movie.
"Nowadays if someone asked 'Do you want to see a Nic Cage Superman movie?' I'd be like f--c, and yes, take all my money, because I want to see what that looks like," Smith says in the new trailer.
