Though I too am guilty (daily) of imagining what Seinfeld would be like if it were still on TV today, I do take occasional breaks from such brain candy to appreciate moments like these. After already enlisting Larry David, Michael Richards, and Jason Alexander for previous episodes (and one Super Bowl ad), perennial observation god and casual genius Jerry Seinfeld will finally welcome the incomparable Julia Louis-Dreyfus to Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee this summer.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, of course, is currently enjoying the well-earned success of her HBO series Veep — a level of success so universally unquestioned that even Joe Biden was eager to participate. Though Seinfeld recently described YouTube as a "giant garbage can," his Comedians series has done very well for Crackle — the free streaming platform which may or may not have something to do with that brilliant Dennis Quaid clip you used as vicarious therapy this morning when your boss fumigated your cubicle with his exponentially unsettling coffee breath.

Long live Seinfeld.
