Hannibal Buress has been patient. His Fox show with Jonah Hill never came to be. The comedian has made regular appearances on Broad City and done voice for Lucas Bros Moving Co and Chozen. He made Bill Cosby's alleged hidden rapey ways less hidden and arrested Seth Rogen in Neighbors. But even though his own show wasn't happening, he never asked "WHY?!!" And now—that's exactly what he'll be doing for Comedy Central. The CC has ordered eight episodes of Why? With Hannibal Buress. Why? Because he's ready.

The weekly, half-hour series will premiere in July and will "follow the comedian as he addresses major cultural issues through stand-up, filmed segments, man-on-the-street interviews and interviews with in-studio guests." Damn, that's a lot of nuts hats!

When will this air in July? Undetermined. Comedy Central has the who, what, and Why down. Now we're just waiting on the when.
