The attempted disposal of roughly 17 bricks of marijuana ended in arrest for a pair of Arizona men—and good fortune for a few lucky bystanders who happened to make off with some of the bricks.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office shared a video of the weed being thrown from the window of an SUV during a high-speed chase. The sheriff's office explained the details of last Wednesday's marijuana seizure:

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu stated, These foreign drug smugglers try to outrun our deputies and even throw bales of marijuana from their vehicle. We caught these criminals who put our deputies and our local citizens in harm’s way and now they will go to prison for their crimes.

In total, approximately 374 pounds of marijuana were able to be recovered, which was entered into evidence.

Still, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office said that "four or five" cars stopped to retrieve some of the weed before they could reach it. Lucky them.

As for the two men inside of the delinquent vehicle, they were arrested on a string of drug-related charges, as well as unlawful flight.
