Tragedy struck a Valencia, California high school Monday morning as students discovered their photography teacher hanging in her classroom.
Police say Jillian Rose Jacobson, 31, was found hanging from the ceiling when a fellow teacher unlocked the door for students arriving for their first class of the day. The teacher lowered Jacobson down to the floor as they waited for medical help to arrive. There was no note left behind.
Students described the popular Ms. Jacobson as someone who "was just really involved in her students' lives. If you were down, she would try to help you. She was just a very kind, loving person."
Police are ruling her death a suicide, but an investigation is still underway.
