A reporter and his crew were mugged last night in Johannesburg while the cameras were still rolling. Vuyo Mvoko, contributing editor of the South African Broadcasting Corporation, was about to go live on air when an armed group of men stopped while passing them and demanded their phones and money.
Talking about it on the channel later, Mvoko said they picked them out because he was holding his phone after talking to the shows executive producers: "He was looking for the phone, so because I wasn't giving him the phone then he calls the other one who has a gun."
