Randall Park is having a moment. The dude played Kim Jong-un in one of the most talked about (if not most loved) movies of the year, The Interview, and almost right after that he's starring as the America-loving immigrant dad on probably the hottest sitcom to debut this season, Fresh Off the Boat

There's a new profile of Park at Rolling Stone today, and it has taught us two key things about the 40-year-old Korean-American actor.

No. 1, The man gets to the point, and he's not holding back on the television industry. They asked him why he thinks Fresh Off the Boat is the first sitcom with an Asian cast since Margaret Cho's short-lived All-American Girl two decades ago. His answer:

"There are many theories as to why that is, but in simple terms it's just racism."

And No. 2, and perhaps much more surprising, Park was a rapper, for serious, in a multicultural emcee crew from the mid-2000s named Ill Again. Here's proof in the form of music video (Park's verse starts at 1:07).

Don't look for Park to try to capitalize on his fame and drop an album, though. He tells the magazine, "I'm too old to rap now." It's probably not necessary anyway, Fresh Off the Boat had 5.98 million viewers this week; his job seems secure.
