With New York City getting hammered by a snowstorm, a Delta Airlines plane skidded off the runway while landing at LaGuardia Airport today. The plane, Flight 1086, was coming in from Atlanta, the New York Daily News reports. It crashed into the fence that guards the LaGuardia runway from the body of water that surrounds the airport.
As of now, details are scarce and no injuries have been reported, but people inside the airport—and inside the plane—have already begun tweeting updates and photos of the crash:

While waiting to fly, I just watched a plane unsuccessfully land/takeoff? at #LaGuardia swerve off the runway. Hoping everyone is safe.
