Perhaps it was the adrenaline and disorientating fear from having just killed a man in self-defense, or maybe he had watched Little Miss Sunshine one too many times. But a man from Fort Myers, Florida thought it was a good idea to put his neighbor's dead body in the back of his truck and drive it to his lawyer's office.
John Marshall, 52, told his attorney Robert Harris that he had shot his neighbor in self-defense after the victim pulled a gun on him during an altercation. Marshall claims to have wrestled the firearm away from his neighbor, which led to the fatal shots. According to Harris, his client panicked and threw the body in his vehicle and brought it to the law offices because Marshall "didn't know who else to trust".
Police have yet to confirm whether Marshall would be arrested or not. Oh, Florida.
