Three men who reportedly planned join ISIS in Syria have been arrested in New York City and Florida, authorities say. What's more, officials say one of them offered to kill President Obama if asked to do so.
The Associated Press reports that one man was arrested at JFK International Airport in Queens, while another was taken into custody in Brooklyn. According to the Associated Press, the third suspect was arrested in Florida. Each arrest took place just after midnight, and Fox News identifies the men as Abror Habibov, 30; Abdurasul Hasanovich Juraboev, 24; and 19-year-old Akhror Saidakhmetov.
All three are reportedly Brooklyn residents. Fox News adds that Saidakhmetov is a citizen of Kazakhstan, while Habibov and Saidakhmetov are citizens of Uzbekistan.
Each face terrorism charge and, if convicted, could face up to 15 years in prison.
