Terrence Howard was reportedly the first one to arrive at the Oscars. Perhaps after he struggled to express his immense love for The Imitation Game explains his earliest arrival. Howard introduced Whiplash, but then he got a little teary, phased, and bumped into the microphone a few times, and everyone assumed it was a moment of bracing himself for introducing Selma. But actually it was the Alan Turing biopic, The Imitation Game that touched him so. That or a faulty teleprompter feed.
Breathe, Terrence. Your TelePrompter may have gone out, but you can do this. #Oscars2015

It's hard out there for a teleprompter operator. And it's obvious that even after that song and dance that Neil Patrick Harris did to introduce the show about how amazing movies are, that Terrence Howard probably feels that more than anyone else in the theater. Man loves his movies.
