A Las Vegas woman was killed after a man she nearly struck with her vehicle followed her home and shot her.

The Associated Press reports that 44-year-old Tammy Meyers was on the way home from giving her 14-year-old daughter driving lessons last Thursday when she almost collided with another vehicle. Meyers' husband, Robert Meyers, Sr., told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that a confrontation followed, and his wife drove away after she was threatened.

The vehicle followed her home, and Meyers reportedly called for her oldest son to help her while her daughter ran into the house. That's when someone from the other vehicle opened fire, striking Meyers once. Her 23-year-old son ran out of the house and began shooting at the vehicle, which reportedly had three people inside of it.

Meyers, a mother of four, was rushed to University Medical Center. She was taken off of life support by her family on Saturday.

According to the Review-Journal, one of the suspects is described as a white male in his mid 20s, roughly 6 feet tall and 180 pounds with spiked blonde hair. The hunt for all of them continues.
