This weekend we're going to take a long, crowded walk down memory lane with the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special. The star-studded special is bringing back some of its best cast members, most memorable performers, and, inexplicably, Sarah Palin. But before we watch a three-hour-plus reminder of how much better SNL used to be, former producer Mike Shoemaker is sharing some excellent behind-the-scenes photos from his time on the show.
