The New York Times has a quiz to test how on fleek you are with your slang.

The New York Times is an icon of journalism, an American institution as respected as any in this nation with more than 100 Pulitzers to its name.

But today, what the New York Times would really like to know is, "are you on fleek?"

This makes the New York Times at least as cool as IHOP, for sure.

1.

Pancakes on fleek.

They'll answer the question for you with a language quiz that will also clear up such mysteries as: Is "bae" a nickname for Beyonce, and is a "yolo" some sort of Western tie, and what about "tfw"? Does that have something to do with twerking?

If you've ever felt like getting a lesson on what a "bruuh" is from you're 60-year-old aunt, you're going to want to take the quiz immediately.

Maybe then you'll be able to translate this:

2.

Sonic ice is bae.
