According to the London Fire Brigade, call-outs involving "the 'removal of objects from people' or 'people from objects'" has steadily increased year on year since the book series Fifty Shades of Grey was released.

And now they're getting prepared for the movie, released around the UK tomorrow.
The fire brigade's call-outs tend to involve people getting stuck in handcuffs and needing help getting out, though they also released a few of their more interesting call-outs from the last year including: a woman who called for help getting her husband out of a titanium chastity belt, a man who had his penis stuck in a toaster, and another with his penis stuck in a plastic bottle.
Their advice to people putting their bits in things: "If the ring doesn't fit, don't force it on."
