Is the British takeover of Hollywood near complete? According to The Daily Mail, Kingsman: The Secret Service star Taron Egorton is on top of the Disney wish-list for a Star Wars prequel. Josh Trank (Chronicle, the upcoming Fantastic Four) is slotted to direct the prequel for a 2018 release.
The film will reportedly reveal how Harrison Ford's iconic Han Solo character got the Millennium Falcon, as well as showing how he fell out with Jabba the Hutt.
The rumored Han Solo standalone film will follow Gareth Edwards' first Star Wars spin-off, set to star another British rising talent, Felicity Jones.
In Kingsman, Egorton plays a blue collar ruffian who is trained by Colin Firth to be both a lethal spy, and a gentleman. But the art of princess seduction came natural to the young chap. Misdemeanor #spoileralert coming: in a controversial scene, Egarton is rewarded anal sex with the Princess of Sweden—for saving her life. Apparently Disney stood up and said, "that's our young Han Solo!"
