John Oliver has some thoughts on replacing Jon Stewart on The Daily Show and he shared them with Jimmy Fallon during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show.
Oliver is recommending the Tupac method: replace Jon Stewart with a hologram of Jon Stewart.
"(Stewart)'s said almost every word in the English language," Oliver noted, before stumbling on an even better idea: "Jon Tupac." Yes, that's Jon Stewart from the waist up, Tupac from the waist down.
One thing seems sure, it won't be Oliver taking the helm of The Daily Show. HBO just re-upped Oliver's contract for two more seasons of his (excellent) weekly series Last Week Tonight.
