We are living in the future, ladies and gentlemen. The premise behind the Spike Jonze movie Her isn't that far fetched. The world already has the Marty McFly Nike Air Mags with self-tying laces and hoverboards are around the corner. What's next, you ask? Porn, baby. Virtual reality porn is here.
I've personally seen its evolution from magazines and tapes to the Spice channel (seeing flying body parts between the static taught me about patience) to it being made available for free on the Internet. I'm one of the people in the video above. We were given the pleasure of experiencing virtual porn first-hand, and I'm here to tell you that it's weird as fuck.
They placed a Samsung Gear VR and some headphones on us, without any warning of what was to come. To bring you into the moment, the virtual reality experience starts off calm and relaxing on a beach, then all of a sudden there’s a woman sitting on you going hammer. The next thing you know, there are two women in R2-D2 one-piece bathing suits taking turns. It continues to show graphic things that boggle the mind and trick your brain into thinking you’re in a real room with a series of naked people. There’s even a part where someone's bodily fluids hit you in the face. Finally, in an unexpected turn, you’re a woman with a tatted up, muscle-bound dude with nipple piercings on top of you. It was amazing and horrible at the same time.
Some of it was ridiculously real. At other moments, it was traumatizing. Dreams turn into nightmares quick in this cold world, youngin'. Check out our reactions above. The future is now.
