Star Wars: The Force Awakens doesn’t come out until the end of this year, but the wheels on the next film in the Star Wars universe are already turning. One of two Star Wars spinoff films has reportedly begun to test actresses for its female lead role, including Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and Rooney Mara (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.)

THR is reporting that Felicity Jones has also been rumored to be in the mix according to sources, however, will most likely not be able to take on the film due to scheduling conflicts. The film, which will be directed by Gareth Edwards—who did last year’s Godzilla—is slated to debut Dec.16, 2016

Details about the film’s plot and characters are being kept under wraps, as one might expect, but keep your eyes peeled for Easter eggs before then.
