From Playboy to Baywatch, Pamela Anderson has been a sex symbol for the last 25 years. Anderson got her big break in 1989 when she posed for her first Playboy cover, and has gone on to claim the record for most covers (a grand total of 13).

Despite a successful modeling and acting career, the Canadian-born star laughed at being a model in a recent interview with Parade Magazine. "I've just signed with Next Modeling agency for commercials and appearances," says Anderson. "That is funny. I’ve never felt pretty enough to be a model. I think I’ve provoked feelings with how I look. But not as a beauty but as a mischievous little rascal!"

Anderson is most famous for playing Baywatch’s sexy blonde, running in slow-mo down the beach in that red one-piece bathing suit. Now, 18 years after leaving the show, her acting career is still going strong with 5 reported film projects underway this year.

The 47-year-old model/actress says she isn’t looking to hold onto her youth. "I want to get old. I want to experience all the seasons of my life… And I think in this industry you’re surrounded by a lot of fear of getting older and fear of your looks leaving you. And I thought well, I’m lucky then because I never really felt that great looking."

Though Anderson may not feel pretty, she does believe she is beautiful. "My mom always told me beauty comes from within," Anderson shared. "And I know that’s maybe a cliché, but I do believe that. And I think that’s what lasts forever."
