The widely accepted belief that the Nando's black card exists has been thrown into disrepute.
The card (which allows the bearer to eat at any Nando's without paying) has often been spotted in the hands of celebrities including Ed Sheeran, boxer David Haye and Dizzee Rascal.
However, Robbie Brozin, the restaurant's chief executive spoke to the Financial Times and has sought to quash what he describes as just a "rumour."
Brozin also said that even he hasn't got one and "it’s about time they gave me one. If it does exist, I’d like one.”
Many people have valiantly tried and failed to score a black card.
