Mike Myers Signed an Exclusive Deal with HBO

Yeah, baby!

Amazon has Woody Allan, and now HBO has Mike Myers. The cable network announced today its signed a two-year overall deal with the iconic actor and comedian that includes TV exclusivity. And just like Allan's deal, we have no idea yet what exactly will come from Myers' partnership with HBO.

"Mike Myers is one of the great comedy minds of this or any other era," HBO programming president Michael Lombardo said in a statement. "The opportunity to collaborate with a talent of his stature is tremendously exciting."

Myers kept it simple, saying, "I'm thrilled to be at HBO.

Whatever comes of the deal, we're excited for Myers' return to the spotlight. He's been mostly silent since the offensively awful The Love Guru in 2008, the last time we've seen his face in a starring role. And if rumors of an Austin Powers 4 are true, we could be seeing plenty of him on television and in movies once again.
