Bringing back the Jurassic Park series with next year's Jurassic World is a risky move. The original films were essential to the childhoods of millennials, and a misstep could tramp all over that nostalgia. However, this mashup does no such thing.
Jurassic Parks and Recreation mixes the Jurassic World trailer with the series that first made Chris Pratt dear to our hearts. And as badass as Pratt looks in the official trailer, we might like him more as Andy Dwyer assigned to a new department. It's impossible not to laugh at the Parks and Rec theme song playing while dinosaurs chase Pratt.
Look out for the final season of Parks and Rec to begin Jan. 13 and Jurassic World to drop June 12.
