Who would have thought that we'd get another The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo novel before we got another movie? Well, it's happening. Author David Lagercrantz revealed this week that the fourth book in the series titled That Which Does Not Kill was finished in November and will hit store shelves this August.

The book  is understandably expected to be huge, according to The Guardian. The original Millenium trilogy (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest) by Stieg Larsson was an international sensation that has sold something like 80 million copies worldwide.

Larsson died of a heart attack in 2004, before the the first book was even released, which is why Lagercrantz wrote the new book.

As far as the American movie version goes, director David Fincher said recently he still wants to make the sequels to his 2011 adaptation of Girl With the Dragon Tattoo that was nominated for five Oscars. But who knows when that will happen?
