New footage released today shows two Charlie Hebdo attackers escaping following the shooting. The incident left 12 people dead in Paris last week.

The video, which is a little under two minutes long, shows brothers Said and Cherif Kouchai outside of the publication's offices. The men can be seen examining their weapons and yelling "We are avenging the prophet Muhammad!" before escaping in a stolen vehicle. Around the one-minute mark, they encounter police, briefly engaging in a gunfight before fleeing.

The Kouchai brothers were shot and killed during a standoff with police last Friday.
