Empire is absolutely killing it on Fox right now, and the hip-hop soap opera starring Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson is showing no signs of slowing down.

The show pulled in its biggest audience yet last night, winning the Nielsen ratings with 11.3 million viewers. That’s an upgrade on last week’s performance (10.9 million), and a 15 percent increase since the series premiere three weeks ago.

After all the DVR stats are factored in, Fox is projecting that the show is going to finish as the No. 1 drama on television by the time this season wraps up. Not bad for a brand new series.
