Hollywood’s rumored-to-be next super movie won’t feature a superhero at all, just the superstar trifecta of Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and new dad Ryan Gosling. Already making this movie a must-watch for guys, and their girlfriends, alike.
Variety reports that three leading men have signed on to The Big Short, a Paramount and Plan B (Pitt’s production company) adaptation of Michael Lewis’ The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine, about the housing and credit market in the 2000's, which would end in economic disaster in 2007-2010.
The rest of the cast is expected to be stacked with equal star power, which will hopefully not be a cheap ploy with no payoff a la Valentine's Day.
