This is clearly not a cat to be messed with.

After young Bart had been hit by a car in Tampa, Fla., his owner had buried the lifeless cat thinking he had died in the accident. Only thing was, Bart was very much alive. And like one of those pesky zombies on The Walking Dead, Bart had no intention of staying six feet under.

The resilient little guy clawed his way back to the surface, and five days after he was buried a neighbor discovered Bart in his yard. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay took him in when his owner couldn’t afford the treatment, and Bart is now there receiving treatment for facial wounds, a broken jaw, and a ruined eye.

While he’s got a lengthy recovery ahead of him, this insanely tough cat is expected to be OK.
