If you haven't gotten down with Amazon's Transparent—no shame; I'm in this category, too—you'll soon have a chance to catch up for free. The streaming service will make every episode of the Golden Globe-winning show available to all for 24 hours Saturday.
Obviously there's more to it than charity, especially since streaming of the show has already gone up 250 percent since it won Best Comedy Series and a Best Actor award for Jeffrey Tambor at the Golden Globes. Amazon is hoping the freebie will get people to subscribe to Amazon Prime, which will go on sale for $72.
Regardless of your subscription plans (or lack thereof), you should jump at the opportunity. Transparent was our top-rated show of 2014, and we have high hopes again this year.
