Last Friday, President Obama promised to “respond proportionately” to North Korea’s state-sponsored hacking of Sony. He really meant it.

According to Bloomberg, as of today the entire country is totally offline.

You read that right. No Internet. Anywhere.

The North Korean network is routed through China, so while it isn’t yet clear how the outage happened, it would seem China is involved. But how will the state issue more threatening memos? It would be a shame for us all to be deprived of more, honestly.
