MTV’s series True Life has basically been on forever, and whenever a new episode pops up it serves as a reminder that our lives could be way worse.

Last night’s episode was subtitled “I’m Hooked on Molly,” and it was just as astonishing as you’d imagine. The two women featured (Paige and Ally) say that they “don’t know how to have fun without [Molly],” and party at some of the most depressing-looking clubs known to man.

While the entire episode is well worth your time, the basic thesis is: don’t do drugs. Otherwise, you’ll have an apartment that inexplicably features a portrait of Richard Nixon:
