Because He Can Do Anything, Stephen Colbert Interviewed a Dragon Last Night

Stephen Colbert somehow managed to interview "The Hobbit's" Smaug in-studio last night.

The final film in The Hobbit series hits theaters next Wednesday, so who better to promote the film than one of its central antagonists, Smaug? And what better place to do it than with devoted Hobbit fan Stephen Colbert as he approaches the end of The Colbert Report?

Voices by Benedict Cumberbatch, Smaug shared with the audience that he is a big fan of Rand Paul, has to compete with Kelsey Grammer for roles, and may or may not be a supporter of George Zimmerman. You’d think Colbert and he would be the best of friends, but by the end of the interview things start to deteriorate in a pretty major way.
