Authorities in Australia have arrested a woman in connection with the fatal stabbing of eight children. What's more, seven of them are believed to be here own.
According to the Associated Press, police in Queensland were summoned to the unidentified 37-year-old's home yesterday morning after received a call about an injured woman. When they arrived, they discovered the bodies of eight children between the ages of 18 months and 14-years-old. Police say she's the mother of seven of the children, and aunt to the eighth victim.
The woman was hospitalized after sustaining stab wounds to the chest, and the Associated Press reports that she's in stable condition. She has yet to be officially charged.
