For reasons known only to them, a small but vocal group of idiots had a similar response to the first trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens: what’s the deal with the black guy?
You see, John Boyega is featured in the very first shot of the trailer, and while he is clad in a stormtrooper’s suit it has been rumored that he may indeed be the main hero of the entire film. This apparently did not sit well with some people, who naturally took to social media to put their ridiculous arguments on display.
One person who doesn’t care? Boyega himself. He posted this on his Instagram:
