James Franco Hosted 'SNL'—Here's What Happened

James Franco hosted 'SNL' and Seth Rogen dropped by.

1.

James Franco hosted Saturday Night Live last night, with musical guest Nicki Minaj, and of course he addressed the recent Sony hacking, only to be surprised by bfffff Seth Rogen, who broke some bad news to him: Sony hackers had released some “private photos” of the two.

Photos that included Rogen and Franco recreating that infamous picture of John Lennon and Yoko Ono and a very nude Christmas card. What else were hackers responsible for? Oh, just that time Franco tried to pick up a 17-year-old on Instagram.  He made a disclaimer about any Instagram messages girls have received in the past year saying, “The hackers did it!”

Here's what else went down:

Peter Pan

Poking fun at NBC’s terrible Peter Pan live! which aired earlier this week,  SNL emphasized how girlish Peter Pan was for being a boy and how one note Christopher Walken, played by James Franco, was as the not-even-a-little-bit menacing Captain Hook. Aidy Bryant as “Tonkerbell,” a Tinkerbell step in with extra sass, made the sketch.

Star Wars

3.

As if you needed yet another Star Wars trailer parody SNL obliged. The trailer showed how all of your favorite intergalactic characters have aged. Spoiler alert: not gracefully. See James Franco as Luke Skywalker with an actual walker. Get it? And an early bird special eating, hard of hearing, Han Solo.
