"Exodus" Banned in United Arab Emirates, Egypt

Oh well.

The United Arab Emirates is the latest country to ban the release of Ridley Scott's epic Exodus: Gods and Kings. Egypt announced it wouldn't allow the film to be shown, either, citing "historical inaccuracies." Morocco, where some of the movie was shot followed suit.

"This movie is under our review and we found that there are many mistakes not only about Islam but other religions too. So, we will not release it in the UAE," said a National Media Council official.

The biblical epic has made over $100 million worldwide.
