Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are back in action once again. Well... maybe action isn't the right word. The two stars, who previously teamed up for The Other Guys, will get top billing in an upcoming comedy called Daddy's Home. In it Ferrell will play a "mild-mannered radio executive" who's about to become a stepdad to two children when the deadbeat dad (Wahlberg) comes back into the picture.
If we know anything about movies we can expect Daddy's Home to have a story arch somewhat similar to The Other Guys. Minus, you know, the crime fighting.
First Ferrell and Wahlberg's characters will hate each other.
Then they'll become buddies.
Something will pit the two against each other again.
And then they'll make up.
We'd be shocked by a deviation. But either way we can expect to laugh.
