Craig Ferguson will leave The Late Late Show on Dec. 19, but James Corden won't take over the gig until March 9. That's a long time for the show to go without someone at the helm, so CBS has announced ten guest hosts who will take turns during the transition period. The male-dominated lineup includes:
- Will Arnett
- Judd Apatow
- John Mayer
- Wayne Brady
- Drew Carey
- Jim Gaffigan
- Thomas Lennon
- Kunal Nayyar
- Sean Hayes
- Billy Gardell
Of course, CBS is going to need to include some women in the mix. Vulture reports the network is in talks with possible female hosts and that it's made offers to women who were unable to accept.
It'd be nice to see a woman get a late-night gig on a permanent basis, but no network seems to be making that a priority.
