Welp, this is terrible.
A three-year-old boy was shot in the leg last night in Baltimore while he and another toddler played with a shotgun they found. The two children were reportedly in the victim's bedroom when the gun went off—so far, other details on the incident have not been released. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to WBAL.
As of now, it isn't clear whether anyone will be charged with a crime, but it's safe to say a three-year-old would NOT have a bullet in his leg if a shotgun hadn't been left somewhere kids could get a hold of it. So for (hopefully) the last time—hide your shotguns from your children, people.
