There is a lot of hype surrounding the upcoming Mortal Kombat X release, including Warner Bros. recently announcing a new, live-action series based the game.
But lets be honest. When it comes down to it, Mortal Kombat fans still really just want the same thing they wanted when they were stacking their quarters up on the original arcade game back in '93: gory, brutal fatalities.
OK, you got it. The new game footage features plenty of chest exploding, brain loosening, spine cracking and gut spilling. Heck, there's even a good, old fashioned heart squishin'.
Mortal Kombat X is set for a 2015 release.
