Jennifer Lawrence has no need for social media. She's become one of her generation's biggest stars without ever tweeting or sharing photos on Instagram, and by letting someone else run her official Facebook account. And considering what her mentions would have looked like had she been on social media when her nude photos leaked, she's probably even better off without it.
In an interview with the BBC Lawrence said the Internet has scorned her and that she has no plans of ever signing up for another social media account. "I'm not very good on phone or technology," she said. "I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me."
She went on to say time has helped her get passed being hacked and gave a surprisingly Zen take on the outlook for prosecution. "I can't be angry anymore," she said. "I can't have my happiness rest on these people being caught, because they might not be. I need to just find my own peace."
