When last we saw reigning Father of the Year Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance) on Game of Thrones, he was slumped on the toilet with two arrows sticking out of his chest courtesy of his son Tyrion (Peter Dinklage).

As if the image weren’t enough, the tolling bells in King’s Landing confirmed that Lord Tywin was officially no more, and would be availing us of his presence in future seasons. However, actor Charles Dance said a couple months ago that he would be appearing in Season 5 of the show. How, you may ask? In a flashback? As the meanest, most judgmental white walker ever?

The answer turns out to be a lot simpler. As with Joffrey and others before him, it seems that tradition will be upheld and the royal dead body put on display for mourners. When asked by the Daily Beast what his cameo would entail, Dance said “Well, only my body! I don’t wake up in the shower having had a dream about it all.”

Hopefully, Cersei and Jamie show so restraint around the corpse this time.
