Bill Cosby continues to face the alleged rape accusations against him, from not only one woman who came out and accused him publicly, but two, by canceling TV appearances and not much else.
The latest development comes from Alan Scherstuhl of The Village Voice who just dug up this disturbing bit from Cosby’s 1969 album It’s True! It’s True! in which he jokes about drugging women. (You can listen to it here.)
Cosby talks about using an aphrodisiac called “Spanish Fly” to spike women’s drinks, drugging the women to presumably score with them. This bit is getting a whole new meaning since the women who have accused Cosby said there were drugs involved.
A line from the bit goes:
1.
Yikes.
Over the weekend, Cosby's lawyer said the comedian, "does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment," so we probably won't be hearing from Cosby anytime soon.
