Australia is basically on the other end of the earth, so maybe surfing on dead whales totally makes sense to them?

One man was out on a boat with some buddies when he decided that, upon seeing a dead whale being eaten by sharks, it made complete sense to jump into the water and climb on top of the carcass. Once he got there, it seems like Harrison Williams realized that perhaps he had made a huge mistake, and a nearby boat came over and scooped him up without incident.

While he wasn’t fined for his little escapade since he neither killed the whale nor removed any of it, Harrison did not escape the wrath of his parents. “Mum thinks I’m an idiot, Dad’s not too proud either,” he said.

This ambitious young daredevil says that he “Don’t need to do it again,” which is probably a good idea. Of course, if he’s capable of this stupid a stunt, there’s no telling what he’ll try for an encore. Maybe tightrope walking between two skyscrapers?
