A California woman was arrested yesterday after getting stuck while trying to enter the home of a man she dated via his chimney.

KTLA reports that deputies with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were summoned to the scene in Thousand Oaks just before 6 a.m. after receiving calls about a woman who had been caught in a chimney for hours. Responders arrived to discover 30-year-old Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa, who was fortunately conscious at the time.

After lubing the space up using dish soap, she was lifted out of the chimney with a fire truck and taken to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center.

The owner of the home said that he went on six dates with Nunez-Figueroa after meeting her online. After revealing that he had no idea what her intentions were (seriously though, what the fuck was she thinking?), he offered sage advice about meeting people, both online and IRL:

Before you have somebody come in your house really check them out … really give it some time before you let somebody in, because they might want to stay.

Take heed. Nunez-Figueroa was charged with illegally entering the man's home.
