Even for a company as insensitive as Walmart, this is pretty bad.
This morning, both Jezebel and AdWeek noticed something weird was going on with Walmart’s Halloween costumes on their website: their plus-size section was called “Fat Girl Costumes.”
Perhaps most absurd is that not only was this up for almost a week, but Walmart knew about it and still did nothing. One customer took to Twitter to complain and got a ridiculous-but-also-kind-of-hilarious reply:
