We can't decide if this rumor is too much or too perfect. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is reportedly "loosely" attached to star in the Baywatch movie, if it actually ever happens. The script is undergoing another rewrite, this time under Justin Malen for the prolific comedy duo of Sean Anders and John Morris (Sex Drive, Hot Tub Time Machine, Horrible Bosses 2, We're the Millers, etc.).
The Rock definitely has the comedy chops, but a Baywatch movie sounds like it could be a little too ridiculous, especially 13 years after the show went off air. We'll see if these rumors become more than just that, and if Malen can be the one to finally get a script to stick.
