So this happened over the weekend:

1.

Last night I was in a room with the dude who cancelled Freaks and Geeks. And yes, I did totally call him out on it.

The Freaks and Geeks star went on HuffPost Live today and gave a detailed account of how the confrontation went down. We've roughly pieced the conversation together to show you how it probably went.

Seth Rogen: [To the guy who canceled the show] What’s up? Why’d you cancel Freaks and Geeks?

Paul Rudd: Oh, so you’re the guy?! What’s THAT feel like?!

Rich Guy Executive: *Laughs Nervously*

Rogen: Sooo?

Rich Guy Executive: I liked the show! Really. I just tried giving Judd [Apatow] some notes and he wouldn’t listen.

Rogen: The notes probably were stupid.

Rich Guy Executive: No, no. I just thought these kids, could you know, not lose all the time? It’s kind of depressing. People don’t wanna watch that.

Rogen: That was the point, man. High School sucks. But you wouldn’t know, being from a rich prep school and all.

(Rogen probably proceeded to son the exec back to 1999, reminded him why canceling Freaks and Geeks was probably the biggest mistake of his life, and then made it rain on him before leaving.)
