Kristen Stewart has been earning strong reviews for her acting performances of late, and Camp X-Ray looks like it will give the former Twilight star a chance to show off her talents. The film tells the story of a new Army recruit who is deployed as a guard at the infamous Guantanamo Bay detention center, and how her bond with a detainee changes her perspective on both the War on Terror and life in general.
Co-starring Peyman Moaadi (who was a breakout star in A Separation), the movie got strong reviews coming out of Sundance and will hit theaters on October 17. Above is the latest trailer, which tries to tease a little bit of action out of what appears to largely be more of a cerebral, dialogue-based movie.
